Indulge yourself with a stay at the Bamburi Beach, a newly refurbished hotel facing the Indian Ocean to the north of Mombasa. From the moment you are welcomed into the spacious reception area with the gentle sound of waterfalls in the rock pools, you will start to unwind. Later, as you relax by the free-form pool and sip a long, cool drink or take a refreshing swim, you will know you made an excellent choice. Lie back in the new outdoor whirlpool, take a diving lesson in the swimming pool with qualified instructors or a more advanced dive over the barrier reef. Or, if you prefer, visit the reef in a glass bottomed boat for a glimpse of the colourful marine habitat. You may also take a fishing trip, play squash in one of the two air-conditioned courts or make use of the fully equipped gym.

Your room, one of 150 twins and doubles, is tastefully furnished with Arabian style furniture and has a cool, tiled floor. It also has air conditioning, a private balcony, bathroom and safe. Many have a view over the pool and the Indian Ocean.

Three restaurants cater for all tastes. The large and airy main dining room serves fine European and Indian food. The Chinese restaurant has views over the ocean, while the snack bar is ideal for a light lunch beside the beach. At the end of the day the Bamburi Beach offers a variety of entertainment.
