Located on an expanse of beach wilderness on the northern tip of Zanzibar, Ras Nungwi Beach Hotel lies a mere 60 km from the airport and 'Old Stone Town', the ancient capital of Zanzibar. The resort is built from hand-cut fossilized coral limestone and other natural materials and blends seamlessly with the landscape. The eco-friendly approach has ensured that the delicate balance of the indigenous bushland has been preserved. This is the ideal location for all forms of water sports or merely soaking up the tropical sun.

All rooms and chalets are positioned to maximize the panoramic sea views and cool island breezes. Individually furnished with hand-crafted four-poster beds and indigenous decor, including carved doors, all rooms are en-suite with ceiling fans and a balcony. Mosquito nets over all beds ensure a restful night's rest.

The Zanzibari chefs are world-renowned for sumptuous seafood buffets and spicy island fare, all freshly prepared. The area is renowned for its big game fish, which cruise the 1000 meter deep Pemba Channel, making this a fishermen's paradise.
