Banoka Bush Camp
Khwai Concession - Adventure 3 |

|

Banoka Bush Camp, opening in September 2010, will comprise 10 tented units and be located in the Khwai Concession, one of the most diverse areas in northern Botswana, which seldom disappoints when it comes to producing extraordinary wildlife experiences. The life source for this area is the Khwai River – the northernmost “finger” of the Okavango Delta alluvial fan. The camp is named in honour of the River San, or Banoka, ancestors of the Khoi and the earliest settlers of the Okavango Delta.

- The Khwai Concession is one of the most diverse areas in northern Botswana
- Multiplicity of habitats means a variety of wildlife: elephant, hippo, buffalo, lechwe, impala, plains zebra and giraffe.
- Exciting predator sightings: lion, spotted hyaena and leopard.
- Spectacular birding – with some 450 species to be seen
- Explore secretive channels by traditional mokoro
- Bush walks – for those who would like to feel Africa beneath their feet
- Other activities include game drives and boating
