 This is the perfect blend and co-existence between man and nature, where you will experience the best of wildlife in Botswana’s iconic Moremi Game Reserve combined with a taste of culture in the old village of Khwai. The camp affords small private groups, families or independent travellers within its capacity of only 8 beds. This is the old African safari experience that takes you back to experiencing Africa in a tent in a wilderness area. It is a combination of luxury camping and a permanent camp with the best wildlife highlights set in a community based wildlife resource area. Khwai Community Area is on the Northern edge of Moremi Game Reserve in the Okavango Delta, making it the frontier between Chobe and the Okavango Delta (Botswana).   Accommodation: Luxury semi permanent camp, Hemingway style. You will enjoy spacious and comfortable tented accommodation, with oversize twin beds and private en-suite bathrooms. Furniture includes a hanging canvas wardrobe, bedside table, luggage bench and sisal matting. The en-suite bathrooms have a flushing toilet, and open-air bucket showers. Large tin-jugs of hot water are regularly provided to supply the bathrooms and canvas wash basins on the verandah. Each tent has a large shaded patio overlooking the Khwai River and Moremi Game Reserve beyond. The tents as well as the bathrooms are insect proof. Facilities: Main Area with library/sitting area and bar/dining table. The living area is open on all sides to the river and wilderness, and is fitted with comfortable Morris chairs and interesting antiques, to enjoy the camp fire and the star nights in full elegance.   Activities Game drives, guided walks and night drives, village visits to the Khwai Community, day trips to Moremi Game Reserve can be arranged by prior arrangements.
