This trips focus is for sharks with reef & wreck diving which attracts many wonderful marine species including Sharks!

DAY 1

Arrive at Ellingham Resort where you will be welcomed by a member of Diving with Sharks team. The rest of the day is spent at leisure enjoying your surroundings and the fabulous Bell & Anchor A-la-carte restaurant.

DAY 2

08h00 – A short walk from your accommodation and you will arrive at Rocky Bay launch site to meet the dive team. Prepare for your 2 reef dives of the day to familiarise yourself with the area. Assemble gear and enjoy a typical African surf launch experience.

Afternoon at leisure.

Enjoy the pub and restaurant at Bell & Anchor and make use of the amenities at Ellingham resort, complete with swimming pool.

DAY 3

08h00 – Meet again at Rocky Bay launch site to meet the dive team and prepare for your 1st exciting shark dive.

Assemble dive gear and get ready for the in depth shark dive briefing prior to the dive. Launch from Rocky Bay.

Whilst the team baits and awaits the arrival of sharks, you will be given additional information on sharks and the sharks of the area.

Once the sharks arrive, divers will kit up and enter the water with the dive guide.

Duration of excursion is approximately 4 hours. Approximate return time 13h00.

DAY 4

08h00 – Meet again at Rocky Bay launch site to meet the dive team and prepare for your 2ndt exciting shark dive.

Assemble dive gear and get ready for the in depth shark dive briefing prior to the dive. Launch from Rocky Bay.

Whilst the team baits and awaits the arrival of sharks, you will be given additional information on sharks and the sharks of the area.

Once the sharks arrive, divers will kit up and enter the water with the dive guide.

Assemble dive gear and get ready for the in depth shark dive briefing prior to the dive. Launch from Rocky Bay.

Whilst the team baits and awaits the arrival of sharks, you will again be given additional information on sharks and the sharks of the area.

Once the sharks arrive, divers will kit up and enter the water with the dive guide.

Duration of excursion is approximately 4 hours. Approximate return time 13h00.

DAY 7

08h00 - Meet again at Rocky Bay launch site to meet the dive team and prepare for your final 2 reef dives of the trip. Assemble gear and enjoy your final African surf launch experience.

DAY 8

Bid a very sad farewell to Rocky Bay, the dive team and the sharks.

Departure from Ellingham resort.

Diver tax for diving within Aliwal Shoal MPA (Marine protected area)

PACKAGE DOES NOT INCLUDE:

All meals – breakfast can be sourced for you at an extra cost as all units offer self catering facilities. Lunch & dinner can be obtained from the A-la-carte menu at Bell & Anchor restaurant.
