Families on Safari
It is amazing to me how Africa travel has grown and now couples who have traveled here want to bring their kids to experience the joy & amazement they feel for the animals from being on safari. Nothing can compare to seeing your child in wild amazement at the first Giraffe in the wild, or walking with the ranger in the bush and showing the different species of dung and teaching them ‘spoor’ animal tracking. Camps all over Africa have now created special family camps that will ensure parents and children of safety and yet the aura of sleeping in the bush in a luxury tent or chalet very close together.
FAMILY CAMPS
South Africa
Londolozi Pioneer Camp (Sabi Sands) Kruger, is currently closed for refurbishment. Londolozi has now decided to incorporate the old Pioneer suites into Founder's Camp, so that there are now ten chalets in Founder's at the chalet rates. The new Pioneer suites that are being built will be the same rates as Tree Camp, and the planned opening will be on 01 June 2010. This is aimed at being Londolozi's upmarket camp for families.
