There are many species of wildlife, 13 rare primate species, over 300 bird species and approx. 100 rare orchid species to be sought out, photographed and enchanted by.

Day 1 Nairobi
On arrival in Nairobi, meet and greet by Vintage Africa, transfer to House of Waine. B
Day 2 - 6 Masai Mara NR
After breakfast, we drive in our 4x4 to Mara Serena at the southern edge of the Mara Game Reserve. The Serena is ideally located for the migration river crossings and has good access to all the central areas of the reserve. Everyday, we set off as early as possible, occasionally taking a packed breakfast with us, and return as late as possible, perhaps after celebrating a fine photo session with sundowners. FB
Day 7 - 9 Masai Mara NR
We move to the central part of Mara where there are good chances of leopard and rhino sightings. We can also explore the northwestern areas of the park towards Little Governors. FB
Day 10 Nairobi
After an early morning game drive and breakfast, your driver/guide will transfer to the airstrip for the mid-morning flight from Mara to Nairobi. A room has been reserved for you at The Fairmont Norfolk on bed and breakfast basis. B
Day 11 Kigali
Today fly to Kigali and spend the night at Kigali Serena Hotel on bed and breakfast basis. B
Day 12 Ruhengeri
Depart early for Parc National de Volcans. Meet the head ranger for a briefing before you depart for your gorilla trek which may take anywhere between 2 hours to 4 hours, depending on the family gorilla assigned to your group. We have booked two treks for you and you may trek a different gorilla family each day. FB
Day 13 Kigali
Today, take the second trek. On return, enjoy lunch at the lodge before we drive back to Kigali for overnight at the Kigali Serena Hotel or similar. L-BB
Day 14 Nairobi
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Nairobi to connect to your international flight home.
