Thornybush Game Lodge, located in the 11 500-hectare Thornybush Game Reserve adjacent to the Kruger National Park, is situated along the banks of the seasonal Monwana River. Accommodation is in 20 suites - two of which can accommodate families. The glass fronted suites, all spaciously appointed, have mini bars, telephones, indoor and outdoor showers, air conditioners and decks with a view of the active waterhole. The main lodge area has a library, pool, lounge area, curio shop, fully equipped conference facility and Boma. Rangers and trackers conduct morning and evening safaris in open Landrovers. Walks are encouraged for the more adventurous. Between safaris guests can be pampered at the Guerlain Institute, located in a secluded position at the Game Lodge, where one can experience the gentle attentions of Guerlain trained therapists.
