The Zimbali Lodge lies in a protected nature reserve within the Kwazulu Natal province ~ a short 30 minute drive from Durban. Birds and small antelope roam the surrounding forest while the elegant Zimbali Lodge rests in an untouched green forest with amazing sea views.

The natural surroundings of Classical African architecture are reflected in the warm tones and style of the luxurious rooms. The suites and rooms are situated in a variety of different buildings ~ all with an exclusive balcony. Every detail, including the hand-carved furniture, symbolizes traditional values imbued with sophistication and style. Even the bathrooms embody an old-world indulgence when time did not matter, with hand-molded wash basins, free-standing Victorian baths and gloriously fashioned fittings. Each air-conditioned, en-suite, balconied room also enjoys dedicated and personal butler service.

Zimbali Lodge is well known for its stunning 18-hole golf course ~ a challenging round of golf at world-class standards with stunning views. Golf carts are compulsory and available for hire. The Club's Pro Shop has all the golfer's necessities and the clubhouse offers a bar and restaurant.
