Botswana Safaris: African Bush Camps ~ SAN BUSHMAN EXPERIENCE

This is a unique 2 night trip into the heart of the Kalahari Desert offering you a chance to interact with the original desert dwellers - the San Bushmen. Spend time living close to them. They will share their survival, cultural and spiritual knowledge with you. You will also get to witness a legendry "trance dance".

FULL ITINERARY

Day 1 KALAHARI DESERT
Arrive in the afternoon and settle into camp. In the early evening take a short walk to Bushmen camp (about 200m) and meet Bushmen and see their huts and dwellings. Dinner is in camp, followed by a talk around the campfire about Bushmen, their history, culture and beliefs. Stories about their folklore and lifestyle will keep you entertained throughout the night.

Day 2 KALAHARI DESERT
After breakfast take a walk to join the Bushmen where they will show us their weapons and teach us how they used to set traps, collect food and build huts for their survival. We return to camp for lunch and a siesta. Later after tea you go for a game drive or walk, returning for an early supper. After supper join the Bushmen around the fire for their traditional "Trance dance" and music.

Day 3 KALAHARI DESERT TO MAUN
After a delicious breakfast we depart camp ending the San Bushmen Experience for a charter flight back to Maun for your onward travel arrangements.
