Moremi Game Reserve ~ A Premier 6 Wilderness Camp

Mombo Camp, situated on Mombo Island just off the northeastern tip of Chief's Island, is built under the shade of large trees and overlooks a wonderful floodplain teeming with wildlife, providing what is arguably the best big game viewing in Botswana. There are enormous concentrations of plains game and their predators - lion sightings are particularly plentiful!

Accommodation comprises nine spacious tents raised off the ground, with breathtaking views over the plains. Bathrooms are en-suite and include indoor and outdoor showers. The main living and dining area is under thatch and there is a boma for delicious dinners under the stars. Large concentrations of plains game occur in front of the camp and guests may view a variety of animals without even leaving their deck. There is a plunge pool for relaxing in the heat of the day.

Drives in open 4x4 vehicles explore the savannah and floodplains where wildlife and birds abound. Game drives are exciting with excellent sightings of lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog, elephant, white rhino, hyena, giraffe, wildebeest, zebra and large herds of buffalo.
