It is blessed with a great bio-diversity of habitat and wildlife, giving guests an excellent chance of experiencing close encounters with the 'Big 5' as well as a myriad of other wild animals and the prolific bird-life. Qualified game rangers and legendary Shangaan trackers take guests on day and night safaris in open 4x4 Land Rovers into the heart of the African bush. For the more energetic, there is the daily option of walking trails.

Earth Lodge, the new eco-lodge sensitively landscaped into the environment, is the epitome of bush elegance, style and luxury. There are 12 suites only, in addition to the Amber Suite. Each is attended by a Private Butler and is appointed with specially commissioned furnishings, a secluded plunge pool and open air shower. The Amber Suite is generous in its dimensions and boasts its own exercise room, steam room, study and kitchen. During the day guests may take a siesta in the comfort of their suites or beside the filtered pool. Superb innovative bushveld cuisine is served on the thatched terrace and dinners are a romantic, lamp-lit affair in an open-air, reed Boma under the starry African sky.
