Day 01
On arrival meet and greet, depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area . We stop at Olduvai Gorge, the site where the Leakey’s made their startling discoveries on the origins of man. Seeing this site is a memorable experience. Arrive in time for a sumptuous lunch at the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge. This is the largest unbroken caldera on earth…… large enough to be seen from space. En route we may encounter proud Maasai herding their precious cattle. This unusual habitat is home to elephant, rhino, zebra, lion and hyena, fox, countless birds and much more. The descent and ascent to the crater rim are breathtaking experiences.

Day 02
Full day at the crater, with both morning and afternoon game drives. We’ll picnic in the crater and continue exploration until the sun’s descent brings purple and pink splashing onto the surrounding crater sides.

Day 03
Proceed to Serengeti National Park with game viewing en route. Approaching the gate of the Serengeti, one is overwhelmed by a seemingly unending expanse of barren rocky vistas. In Swahili, Serengeti means ‘endless plains’. Its difficult to understand how the wildlife we encounter can survive in this harsh environment. En route, the landscape changes character with the appearance of rocky outcropping ‘kopjes’, which are often the napping places of magnificent prides of the lion, or cheetah. The park boasts large herds of antelope including Patterson's eland, Klipspringer, Dikdik, Zebra, gazelles, lion, impala, leopard, cheetah, hyena and other larger mammals like the rhino, giraffe, elephant and hippopotamus. Nearly 500 species of birds have been recorded in the park. Arrive in time for lunch followed by afternoon game drive.

Full day in Serengeti with both morning and evening game drives.

After breakfast depart for Arusha, transfer to the airport for your flight.
