On the banks of the mighty Zambezi, over-looking the dramatic back drop of the Zambezi escarpment is Vundu Camp. Nick and Des recently totally re-built the camp, nestled under the wide canopy of ebonies and tamarind trees in the heart of Mana Pools, acclaimed world heritage site.
Fantastic dinning vistas over-looking the river as it gently flows past beneath you. Large open living spaces and bar area in the canopy of the beautiful river forest.
7 large spacious tented rooms with private en-suite bath rooms, amongst those includes a family unit. Each room has its unique view of the majestic river and mountain.
Mana Pools National park is a World Heritage site for its beauty. It is situated in the North of Zimbabwe on the Zambezi River. It is 450 square Km and has diverse vegetation and wild life.It's hills and flood plains have an incredible river ecological diversity. Elephant, Buffalo, Lion, Wild dog, Eland, Kudu, Waterbuck to name a few and home to over 350 species of birds.

Vundu Tented Camp is situated in the middle of the park and has walk-in tents with en-suite facilities, flush toilets and the traditional bucket showers. The style of the camp, is that of an old charm safari camp, simple but yet comfortable and giving you an total bush camp experience. Being a private camp makes it the perfect place for small groups making the adventure entirely your own. It is nestled in a grove of riverine trees along the banks of the mighty Zambezi river. The dinning room is on a patch of sand under the spreading branches of a tamarind tree, just a few feet away from the river. The camp is perfectly situated for abundant game viewing and tranquil canoeing in the afternoon, watching the sunset on the river. Game drives into the Mopane woodland and onto the flood plains are in easy access and such and walking it's game rich flood plains is one of it's many attractions.
