Zimbabwe Safari Recommendations

Hard to believe this crazy dictator Robert Mugabe is still the leader of this forlorn country. He has overtaken farms from the white farmers that have been there for decades. The country is suffering and it truly is amazing to me that no one has taken that man away.
For the brave hearts still wanting to go to the wonderful Hwange National Park, the animals are chock a block full and the accommodation cheap!! For me the Intrepid one, I would go in a second, I know my operators and how they run camps. They are able to get fuel and food from Botswana and fly it in on the charter flights you come in with to go on safari. The game is some of the best in Africa here and a pity not many people are seeing this wonderful place in the last few years.
We have wonderful camps and safaris for those of you who don’t worry about the politics. Once you are in camp you will not know you are in Zimbabwe and have the most delightful safari experience! Hwange lies on the border of Botswana and very very far away from the capital Harare and where the problems lie.
Mana Canoe trails are the best there is for canoe safari, this is on the Zambezi River and full of excitement! Not for the feint of heart here! You are challenged daily by hippos and Elephants and crocodiles and of course your canoeing skills! Not to worry as you are guided with the finest canoe guides. Of all the adventure and adrenaline activities this is by far the best and the highlight of your trip!!
