Maxa
Okavango Delta, Botswana - Premier 5
Maxa is a rare, small safari camp, focussed upon exploration within a seldom seen, beautiful corner of the Okavango Delta. Maxa is sited overlooking the large, hippo frequented, Maxa Lagoon in the North Eastern reaches of the Okavango delta, at the source of the Selinda Spillway.
The landscape consists of a network of permanent lagoons which are fed by ephemeral channels and connect to expansive grassy floodplains and riverine woodland islands. A rich diversity of wildlife inhabits the area, assuring guests of an exciting and immersive safari experience.
These innovative features, along with the camp's careful integration into the natural environment, underscores our commitment to minimally invasive, high-impact experiences that enhance rather than disrupt the pristine surroundings.
Maxa accommodates just 12 guests in five tents, which includes a family tent. The camp provides a range of activities, all led by highly experienced guides, including walking safaris, day and night nature drives, and mokoro excursions (dugout canoe).
Maxa sets a bold new standard in Botswana’s tourism, promising unforgettable memories in one of Africa’s most breathtaking ecosystems.
