Day 1 - 3:
Luwi Bush Camp
Luwi is set inside the South Luangwa National Park, about 2 hours’ drive from Mfuwe Airport. It is very remote and a proper, traditional bush-camp, it has just 4 rooms, each made of reed and thatch. Luwi is predominantly a walking camp with short night drives complimenting morning and afternoon walks.
Day 3 - 5:
Nsolo Bush Camp
Transfers from Luwi to Nsolo are usually done on foot as a walking safari. The 4 rooms at Nsolo are very spacious, set on raised wooden decks with grass walls and thatch roofs; each room is designed differently and has its own veranda and private views across the Luwi sand river bed.
Day 5 - 9:
Chongwe River Camp
Your flight into the Lower Zambezi is via Lusaka and takes you to Royal Airstrip. Chongwe Camp is a 15 minute drive from the airstrip tand set on the western bank of the Chongwe River, which acts as the boundary to the National Park. This is a wonderful camp with each of its 8 standard tents spread along the bank of the river, you will be able to enjoy the full range of activities on offer in this diverse Park seeing great game on foot, from vehicles or from the water in boats or canoes.
Day 9 - 11:
A 35 minute flight from the Lower Zambezi will see you arrive in Lusaka where you will connect with your flight to Livingstone, your final destination of the trip.
Tongabezi is set on a large bend in the Zambezi River some 20kms up-stream from the Falls themselves, this is a good base from which to explore the Livingstone area.
Day 11 - 13:
Sindabezi is located on an island in the Zambezi River 3kms down-stream from its sister camp Tongabezi, access is by boat from the Main Lodge. This private island is a wonderful spot in which to relax at the end of your trip, watch the river slowly amble by and start planning your return to this part of Africa.
A short boat trip to Tongabezi followed by a 30 minute road transfer brings you back to Livingstone International Airport where you will connect to your onward flight.
